Who is that hiding behind my knee? (Didn't realize my knee was in the way, by the time I did, he was off playing somewhere.)

Yep, Emmitt is standing. Pulling himself right up via anything he can grab hold of. (unless it's the toy box in which case he's laying on his back buried in toys.) He'd been pulling up to his knees for about a week, but yesterday, he made it the whole way up.

That means that now when I work on the computer, this is what I see...

That is tooo cute! Hm, must mean mine is going to be doing that soon, huh? :) Probably just wishful thinking...lol

    SOOOO adorable! :)

LOL...I told you I'd get working on that standing/walking thing for you. ;)

I can't remember when Elnora stood. She didn't crawl until 8 months and she walked unassisted at 10 months, so I know it was somewhere in between that...

Emmitt just turned 7 months last week, so he's certainly going a little faster than she did. On the other hand, he is freakishly strong.

We're thinking of dressing them as Pebbles and Bam Bam for Halloween.

Catie hasn't even rolled over yet. She's been stuck on 1/2 to 3/4 roll for a few weeks now. She still hates "tummy time."

Oh well. The lack of mobility isn't all bad.

Yep, that's what happened to Elnora.

She rolled from her tummy to back once when she was four or five months, but she didn't roll from back to front until well after six months.

Emmitt is hitting physical milestones much more quickly than she did.

And yes, be thankful for the lack of mobility. I was with Elnora in the bathroom today while she went potty and Emmitt came trucking right on in to see us.

aww, what a great sight to see! :)

julian is just starting to sit up unassisted at 5 1/2 months. i'm so not ready for him to be mobile but i know it's just a matter of time!

it goes too dang fast the 2nd time around. ;)

btw, thanks again for mentioning a few months ago that the denver milk bank was running low. i've completed the screening process and have started pumping to donate as of saturday. :)

I love that you say "freakishly strong"! That is how I describe my son all the time.

I thought he'd be doing some new things soon. Is he sleeping better yet?

Colleen, we're not getting up five times a night anymore, but he's still up 2 or 3.

If we could get back to that nice one time a night thing, I'd be in good shape. :)
