Pennies from the Porkers

Monday, April 02, 2007

Heard word this last week from the National Pork Board that they'd finished their fundraising drive for the Mother's Milk Bank of Ohio.

Turns out they raised $1000.

If I combine that with the $1000 that I raised myself the past few months, that brings the total to $2000.

Not quite enough to buy that new freezer they need, but it will help.

That's awesome, Jen! Silk from a sow's ear, right?

I think that was a nice gesture from the Pork Board.
