Congratulations, Jen. Nice to see that USA has midwives and home births. When I worked there (70s and 80s) everyone seemed to think hospital was essential (and FORMULA the only available nourishment - hence all babies stank of rancid puke). <BR/><BR/>One critical point, though, for those keen on trying home birth: how many minute would it have taken to get to hospital if it hadn't worked out? <BR

Hypnobabies Rocks! I used it and went shopping for my hubby's birthday cake while I was in early labor. Nothing hurt until I got really close. One drawback is that the birth center folks had NO idea how close I was, so I got sent home and then had an unassisted birth a few hours later.
