Ok, not really. In fact, I'll probably be quite glued for at least a few more days...
Did you know that super glue for skin is purple?
I do.
Why?
Because I sliced my thumb wide open today while trying to cut up some yummy boston bib lettuce. (See what happens when you try to eat healthy? I've never been injured by a Snickers bar!)
I'll survive, but the doctor says the super glue should last for four or five days before it falls off.
Aimed at supporting nursing moms by promoting issues like breastfeeding in public, milk bank donation and child led weaning.
yikes! that's awful. hope you heal up quickly.

ReplyDeleteThis is the kind of thing that usually happens to me after getting an unusually restful (and kid-antic-free) night's sleep. I sleep 8 solid hours, and later that day I'm innocently cutting up an apple and whammo- I run a knife thru a finger. I think my body just doesn't cope well with the change of being fully rested.
Umm...the glue I hope. ;)
ReplyDeleteFunny that you mention it though debby...Elnora slept great last night in her bed and Emmitt only woke up once between 8:30 and 8am. That meant I slept from 11:30 to 3:30 and then from 4am to 8am.
I think that's the most sleep I've had in a year.
Maybe its karma for bad mouthing the tofu pudding? :-D

i can't believe Emmitt sleeps so long. My little girl is a couple of months older (a week shy of 8 months) and still wakes up eleventy billion times a night.
But thankfully my thumbs are whole.
